Transport & Location

The College enjoys a brilliant location in the heart of Northcote and is therefore well serviced by public transport.

Given our location and easy access to the train, tram and bus, our students commute from a broad range of suburbs in the North.

Public transport options include:

  • Tram stops are situated directly adjacent to the College on the corners of High Street and Mitchell Street, and High Street and Separation Street. Both stops are just a 5 minute walk.
  • Northcote train station is just an 8 minute walk from the College on the corner of Arthurton Road and Separation Street.
  • Bus 508 stops just outside the College gates on Separation Street.

Further information regarding public transport facilities may be obtained by contacting Public Transport Victoria (PTV).

PTV mobile app

PTV has a free mobile App for iPhone, Android and Nokia to help you access public transport information. You can check scheduled departures for train, tram and bus, get real-time tram departures via tramTRACKER, plan your journey, view the unplanned changes for metro trains, find your closest stops using GPS, and load your favourite stations and stops for quick access to timetables.

Download the free iPhone App from the iTunes Store, the free Android App from Google Play or the free Nokia App from the Nokia Ovi Store.

MYKI

Students under 17 years of age can use a Concession or Child Myki to travel on public transport. No ID card is required.

Secondary students can also purchase a yearly student Myki. The application form may be collected from any Metro premium station, taken to the College for endorsement, and returned to the station with 2 passport sized photographs (not over 6 months old) and payment. The yearly student Myki will be issued, along with a photo ID card which must be carried when travelling with the Myki. The yearly ticket is valid for travel anywhere in Melbourne even during school holidays and on weekends.
