we are seeking a Design Tech & Vis Com Teacher who is available Part Time (0.78 FTE), teaching 3X Y8 Design Tech, 2 X Y8 Vis Comm and a HR & Pastoral.
About you
- Experience teaching methods listed
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong understanding of the developmental needs of adolescents and emerging young adults.
- Proficient in the use of ICT for communication and record keeping.
- Interpersonal skills appropriate to establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with students, staff and parents, particularly the ability to work as a member of a team.
- Organisation and administrative skills appropriate for planning and preparation
- VIT Certification
- Commitment to supporting the College’s relational management and restorative practices.
- Maintain a positive environment which is respectful of all present and fosters student learning and motivation.
- Able to participate in the College's professional development activities in and out of school hours.
- Open to participate in the College's extra-curricular and co-curricular programs as required.
- Experience with Mandatory Reporting and knowledge of Child Safety expectations and standards.
