Innovative classroom experiences

Brand new labs in both junior and senior buildings, with video links to microscopes and computers for research are at the disposal of every Santa girl in science. We have Lab technicians to set up and test experiments and help make classes as interactive as possible.

VCE science subjects such as biology, physics, chemistry and psychology are popular at Santa Maria. Past students who have excelled in science-based subjects have gone on to study biomedical science, engineering, pharmacy and other science related disciplines. The first female neurosurgeon in Victoria is an ex-Santa girl!

Students take part in regular mathematics and science competitions as well as a science club within the school.
