A full time careers counsellor who sees you more than once!

Santa Maria College has a Careers Counsellor on staff who works with the girls in relation to subject choices and career paths. Work experience is undertaken by Year 10s. Santa Maria also participates in Careers Expo which offer our students the opportunity to meet with people from the tertiary education sector and therefore make truly informed decisions.

The support does not end at Year 12. Our Careers Counsellor personally calls all girls who have finished Year 12 after results are published to advise on preferences as well as later in the year to find out how they are faring in their tertiary placement or job.
