Curriculum

Santa Maria College offers a broad curriculum that nurtures a spirit of inquiry and lifelong love of learning, which equips our students to pursue any career path. Ensuring a smooth transition from Primary to Secondary school is also a priority at Santa Maria and this is reflected in the curriculum, particularly in the Middle Years Program.

Santa Maria is also proud of its unique Information Literacy Project which teaches our girls how to learn and think for themselves. They are taught research skills, preparing them for VCE and beyond.

Formal acceleration studies are provided for in Year 10. Our Individual Differences Department also caters for those who require additional support with their studies.
